A Church Built on Love and Praise!

Thank you for visiting our website.  I invite you to visit with us at 5548 Silver Spoon Road where a paradigm shift is taking place.  I speak affirmatively today that Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church is a church built on love and praise. A paradigm shift is a transition from a former way of thinking to a new way of thinking.  It requires a revolution in the mind because old ways of thinking dies hard.  The paradigm shift at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist church is simply a movement away from traditional church as usual to embrace the attitude of the first church in which the people were together and had all things in common. They sold their possessions and goods, and divided them among all, as anyone had need.  They continued daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house and ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart.  They were praising God and they had favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved (Acts 2:44–47).  If you are ready for an adventure in Christ come fellowship with us where everybody is God’s somebody, Jesus Christ is the Lord of the harvest, and the Holy Spirit is our guide.  We are a church built on love and praise.  Thanks again for visiting our site and we pray that you will be inspired by what you see.

Pastor Timothy A. Lance

Philippians 3:12-16; Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.  Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.  Therefore let us, as many as are mature, have this mind; and if in anything you think oterwise, God will revela even this to you.  Nevertheless, to the degree that we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us be of the same mind.

What does it take to build a church?  Church of God -vs- Physical Structure!!!
